1. What Is a Connect Group?
Connect Groups are small discipleship groups designed to help students grow spiritually, build authentic friendships, and develop into future leaders.
Unlike traditional large group discussions, Connect Groups are intentionally small (maximum of 8 students) and focus on spiritual growth, accountability, relationships, and practical application of God’s Word.
2. Why Connect Groups?
Parents are looking for outcomes.
In Connect Groups, students will:

✅ Develop consistent spiritual habits
✅ Learn how to study and apply the Bible
✅ Receive encouragement and accountability
✅ Discover their identity in Christ
✅ Grow in leadership and influence
✅ Experience belonging in a smaller community
Our goal is to help students move from:

3. Who Can Participate?
Current Launch Group
High School Students (Grades 9–12)
College-Aged Students Welcome
Middle School Students by approved exception only
Groups include:
9th–10th Grade Boys
11th–12th Grade Boys
9th–10th Grade Girls
11th–12th Grade Girls
4. When Do Connect Groups Meet?
Sundays during Ignite
11:00 AM Service
Connect Groups meet approximately 12:00–12:45 PM
Weekly during the 12-week semester
Students not enrolled in Connect Groups will remain in the chapel for a large-group discipleship experience.
5. What Is the Commitment?
Students who join a Connect Group commit to:
A 12-week discipleship journey
Weekly attendance
Daily personal devotion time
Meaningful participation in discussion
One Connect Group fellowship activity
Graduation celebration at the end of the semester
Purchasing the Connect Group workbook ($15)
6. What Will Students Study?
Students will walk through the Pathway to Freedom discipleship curriculum.

Character
Leadership
Responsibility

7. What Happens During a Connect Group?
A typical meeting includes:
Personal check-in
Discussion of weekly devotional content
Scripture memory
Prayer
Accountability
Action steps for spiritual growth
Leaders facilitate discussion rather than lecture, creating a safe environment where students can grow and be heard.
8. Who Leads Connect Groups?
Each group is led by:
Adult Lead Leader
Adult Apprentice Leader
Student Leader
This model allows students to be mentored while also developing future student leaders.
9. How Do We Measure Growth?
We believe spiritual growth should be intentional.
Students are encouraged to develop:
Daily prayer habits
Bible reading habits
Scripture memorization

Christian character
